Hi, sorry for the delay in replying...had so much trouble with internet but all sorted now. We were from Tipton. My hubby did his bricklaying test. He works for a company that treat houses with termites but he does the maintenance side of things.....he loves it. I dont work yet, was looking but with my 2 year old i can only work part time but creche here is way expensive so may wait another year before going back. We are settling in nicely but my little one turned 2 on august 14th 2012 and i cried and cried because i knew my parents were missing her so badly....it really is heart breaking, however after coming here you know there is nothing to go back to in the u.k. Australia really is a better place. I know christmas is going to be even harder for me but I have to do this.....and i still say you are doing the right thing too. You will have to work hard to start again and you will suffer the heartache but your children will understand when they are older and will thank you for it. This place can offer them so much more. My girls have started going out more and late night shopping....something i wouldnt let them do in the u.k. I promise you.......you will never look back but you do how ever need friends that understand what you are going through and who can give you a hug when you need it or just listen when you need to talk.....this helps, trust me.....when you get here you will have lots of questions to ask....drivers license, rentals, benefits, tax, etc....so it helps to know people who can help you. Hi, My name is Tracy and we arrived in Oz in May 2012 throught australian government who decide on visas etc, but i have never heard of the one your talking about so be very careful. I know that visas are granted but jobs and accommodation you have to find yourself. The official australian government website is the best place to start or contact the australian house in london, U.K. they should be able to tell you more. Good luck xx

This is the place to come because there is a lot of development going on and there are plenty of jobs. We love this country but we have found it a struggle to adjust because you dont know anything or anyone so we know how you must be feeling right now but trust me it will be the right decision. Hi, We arrived in W.A. in May 2012 and I have to say there are lots of jobs here but you stand a better chance of getting one when you arrive than applying from overseas. The australians are great and with your qualifications you should be fine. If ever you are near Cockburn, south of the river give me a shout and we can meet up. It is a growing suburb and alot of companies are setting up here, schools are also expanding so this is the place to head for. xxx We have researched jobs in your profession and there are plenty, trust me xxx GOOD LUCK!

It has been hard for her but even she agrees that this is a much better country. We just need to make friends. It wud be so lovely to meet up if your interested xx
