Hi we applied for the 176 on the 30th June, we were allocated a case officer on the 16th july and because we got fed up with waiting we e-mailed him the other day and apparently he was awaiting a med report for our 20 year old non migrating daughter?? He didnt notify us of the required docs so it was very lucky we prompted him! we are heading to Perth as my hubby is a welder and has a job awaiting him there xx

Finally we have been granted our visa!!! just gotta get the house sorted for a quick sale then we can get the ball rolling!

It seems like forever since we lodged our 176....we had a case officer appointed 10 weeks and 3 days ago and we haven`t geard a single thing! I understand they are snowed under with cases but it`s takin all the excitement out of it (

my hubby is halfway through lodging his app for the 176 ss. He has just passed his vetassess practical, are we right in thinking we will get 10 points for this?? As when it asks for qualification australian or otherwise, the the categories state AQF 111 in Australian only??? It does not mention having gained it overseas, so how do we claim the 10 points?

Yeah he`ll have to resit em all, it does bloody suck your right, he`s gonna ask for a remark hopefully we can get the 0.5 he desperatley needs x

Hubby has just found out he hasn`t got the scores he needed for the 175 visa!! He got 9`s in reading, listening and speaking and 7.5 in writing!! So we have lost out for the 20 points we needed for him to apply for the 175 absolutly gutted 8-((

Hi ....just to let u know I got the time off work and we have booked in at the black lion hotel 0.3 mile double en-suite 150 for 2 nightg including brekkie 8-) x

Just realised that it`s the queens jubilee that day...wonder if everwhere`s booked up??

My hubby wants me to go with him....and I was thinking the same about what I would do when he`s going for the practical, we could maybe meet up if you like ( depending on wether me boss `ll let me have time off work) ....Whats the name of the pub cus we gonna have to book somewhere asap x
