Do you think they will accept "various places of work" during a short period with dates given? Also I can't remember every holiday with dates.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, I can see why everyone dreads form 80! I've had a quick look just now but will print it out and start filling it in then I'll have a head start.

When my son emigrated he flew with Singapore airlines and was allowed double baggage. His wife and daughters were not given the extra baggage as although they were emigrating, too, they are Aus citizens.

Thanks. I don't have any of those problems at the moment but it would be terrible to apply and then develop them later.

I don't read the page every day but read the email with the thread. Ive found these posts very interesting. My son has just been on the Sunshine Coast for two years so I am now going to apply for my 143 visa so considering using an agent or not. i live in the northwest of England so houses don't sell too well. what would make them refuse an application because of the medical? I don't have any problems but wonder about it.

Skype was terrible for us last night so hardly saw any present opening but it was great at the beach, this morning! We have also decided to be on the Sunshine Coast next Christmas.

This is thread has been very interesting. I am 62 and planning to apply for my visa next month, when my son will have been in QLD for two years. He has two daughters. I also have a son in the UK who does not want to move. I am torn between them but feel my life will be better over there.

Actually we have separate finances and separate homes. I'm not sure about the business visa. He works as a limited company over here.
