It's my turn to Add to this wonderful thread. Been on here watching since Jan 2015 and just 5 mins ago I got my PR finalized. I'd lie if I didn't say I shed a small tear. Here's my timeline... Nomination and Visa submitted- 18th March (all documents at once) Approved- 25th Oct LR 2 people moving from 457 Retail manager honestly i woke up this morning with a feeling today was the day, I dunno why. Hi folks, so heres my situation. Im currently in Perth, WA on a 457 visa and enjoying the lifestyle change. Been here 18 months while my GF has been in the UK finishing Uni etc She has just applied for her 417 visa to come for a year and see how she gets on. Unfortunately she did not tell me she was completing the form online, and made a mistake on a question. It asks if she will be working with children, she said yes (having worked with them in the past in UK, she didn't understand the real meaning of the question) Obviously, she will not be working with children (be lucky to get a job anywhere at the minute) but made the mistake. I have helped her fill in a form 1023 Notification of incorrect answer(s) and submitted it through imm.gov They have received it but obviously the link requesting a medical is still highlighted. Do you think this may change once they see the correct answers, and grant the visa? Or should she look at booking a medical at over £300 in Edinburgh and submit it anyway? Any advise would be much appreciated as this forum has been a great source of info in the past. Thank you

Hi there, just testing the waters with this idea... Moving out to Oz in aug and would love to consider bringing my classic mini Cooper over with me. Make- Rover Model- Mini Cooper Year -1998 Engine 1.3i (34,000 on clock) Manual Uk price- valued at £5,000+ Seen advertised for $15-27,000 in Oz The car has been totally rebuilt by myself, so something I never plan on selling, cost me £11,000 over 4 years, so resale isnt important. im just looking at a total cost of bring it to Oz. Any advice would be great thanks
