Heartly congratz to you man , I can see your time line you have been waiting from soooo long from August 2011 it took long time but at least at the end you have got the visa soooooo happy for you bro , Happy Re union you must have got Permanent Residence as 2 yearz were over right ???

Thanks God that after sooooooooooooooooooo long we heard that Male applicant has got the visa , this really is ray of hope for all of us like Waseem , Arshad , Anjum , Faizan and Me and all remaining male applicants , May Allah give courage to AHC and ASIO to complete security checks soon and we all get the visa in this Holy month of Ramadan Ameen

Although, you need BAY form in order to get family registration certificate. Is that correct?

Marriage Registration Certificate is issued by Union Council not NADRA .... and for that you need original Nikah Nama ,Photo Copy and CNICs of couple

Hiii Amaani in Spouse visa case if you lodge the application at first you need to apply for subclass 309 which is temporary visa for two years and then you apply for subclass 100 for permanent when two years are completed since you lodge 309 , some times if AHC refuse the case they transfer it to MRT then MRT take 6-12 months and then reffer it back to AHC so in this whole process it take more then two years so they grant you Subclass 100 straightaway ... If your case was refused for 309 and you are applying again in AHC after getting clear from MRT then you can expect 100 visa otherwise if you are lodging the spouse visa application for the first time then they will grant you temporary visa .....

yes mate, I applied for skilled migration in Jan 2009 and it just came recently. I applied for my wife's visit visa in 2011 and after 9 months got reply back and was refused because of my bridging visa status at that time. so hopefully this time it shoudn't be that long.

Nope if you already have got PR then it wouldn't take her long to get the visa now , She is must be added in documents while you applied for the PR right , so you can use those documents , plus the documents you require to apply for 309 visa and Females get visa within 6 months and it wouldn't be refused as well ...

To obtain the police certificate, should the applicant just go to the police station and ask them for the form or what?

Hii , Your Fiance need to go to SSP office , and there are no charges for it , if she can't go she can send some blood relative with her Original NIC and photo copy , Passport and photo copy and 4 passport size pics , The give the Form which need to be filled , and there are no charges for it if you apply direct from SSP office but if you give money to agent they charge 2000-3000 rupees ....

Why it took 4 and half years ?? I guess you are there on skilled migration right ?? If u were on spouse visa then it take 2 years to get PR ... so you have applied for your wife ?

can't understand how these co's got jobs in Ahc.. poor knowledge and customer service, lack of technology awareness.. can't believe where we all get stuck..

Welcome to Subclass 309 Process This process is a big headache so you need to be very patient to handle it specially while getting information from AHC , Good luck :biggrin:

Been a week since medicals and additional information already requested including character requirements. Guess that's good news for me.

Yup thats is a good news for you Sulmar , Because for female applicants after asking for these documents they do not take long ....

I called AHC early morning today and my call was connected to my CO by luck , as i mentioned before as well that Miss T is a nice lady and she listen to the query very carefully and give correct answers professionally without being rude .... So the good news is that my Medicals are clear and all the documentation is complete ,she told me that she is only waiting for the security checks to be completed once she will get the report from them she will forward it to SCO and the decision will come soon after that .... I lodged the complaint against security assessment to IGIS who can over see security assessment process if it is not completed even after 12 months and according to their reply they can only over see it and only DIAC can ask ASIO to give some priority or make it quicker ... So she said she will talk to her Supervisor and will try to follow up on that ... So lets see what happen next ... all fingers crossed for the decision next month , I wish each one of us get visa grants next month Ameen

Well i hope so May Allah hear your words and they grant it soon , and Sis for Females it do not take that long .. Females normally get visa in 6-8 months and few even in 4 months , for male applicants they take 12-15 months which is ridiculous ... and i guess just because you have applied from AHC Shanghai that is why they are not taking that long for you ???

But the problem is we have not received any request from AHC yet not even additional doc.

InshAllah and next month you will must get the additional documents request or may be in this week , because for male applicants they assign CO and ask for additional documents after 6-7 months .....

My husband is Oct applicant still no update.

For Male applicants this process is sooooooooooooooooo long Tyounas ... i applied in April i got additional documents request in October and then Medicals in March .... and after Medicals i still don't know when it will be finalized even 15 months will be completed next month so be prepared sis

Last working day of week, any update.

Dont expect any grant this Month .... Visa Grants will start next month and i guess now partner visa section is not even answering calls , i am trying from Yesterday and then tried today morning but always it directs to VM that Mr.Ali Abbas is not on his seat even i asked the operator to transfer me to Miss T but she didnt and then i furiously said to her that i will lodge complaint against her and guess what she did ???? she again transferred me to Mr.Ali Abbas who is not available on his seat :mad: and the operator was telling me her name proudly like she don't has any tension that some one can make complaint against her , they have now again increased the visa fee for next financial year but they just don't damn care to increase the level of services !!!!!

Can any one tell me whts the difference b/w PR and TR? As im currently on visa sub class 309 which is TR..do I have the same rights as of subclass 100 which is PR ?? The reason I am asking this is its difficult to get professional jobs here when you are on TR..

Bro there is big difference in TR and PR with Permanent Residence you can come out/in Australia anytime , With PR you will have more opportunities and rights there , you can still get job in TR but with PR there are more chances as employer will know that now you are permanent resident of Australia , and as mentioned your DOL for TR is December 2011 and you can lodge application for PR right after you complete two years so you will be eligible to apply for Permanent Residence in December 2013 .... Seek help from good agent there and you will get Permanent Residence ...

The official website states "there is no formal agreement between ASIO snd DIAC regarding time frame of security checks for temporary and permanent resident visas"

So nobody knows when they will complete the checks and give their assessment report to AHC. After then DIAC will make decision and grant visa keeping in view the locality and planning. .so that can depend on yearly quota..but completion of security checks by ASIO has nothing to do with financial year or quota..It's not their business. .they just have have to give their assessment.

So I am sure that chances of getting security checks complete remains the same whether it is june or July

Bro the more you think of this process more it take on your nerves , so from last 2 months after very stressful period i am not thinking about it ... i will just wait until July/August and i don't think SC or Medical clearance will not be completed even after 15 or 16 months ,,, in my opinion they are just delaying cases because every year they have certain quote to grant visas so they will start finalizing the cases when next financial year start which means July so relax guys and wait for the good time , more you will think more it will be hard and worst to wait

Is there any male applicant who has pending security checks for more than 12 months ? Because it is stated by AHC that security checks take max upto 12 months. (this is the time for security checks..not the total time since lodgement) ??

Dear All , spreadsheet is populated and most of the applicants data is deleted it show on sheet 6 ... so it is better to have all your details in your Signature , like mine shows in the downside of my message ,,,,, go to Settings and there is one option Edit Signature ... add your details in signature.... it will be helpful ....

'll be applying soon for my fiance who I plan to wed in November in Pakistan. We're thinking of doing Nikah over Skype before hand so we can apply for a 309 so that hopefully the visa is sorted by December.

 

Will keep you guys posted on how we go. I hope there are no issues in getting her Visa.

Welcome to this thread Bro .... if your fiance is your relative and you could provide them evidence of Engagement like pics or video then no problem in doing Nikah on Skype but if you are not relatives and there is no evidence of engagement then better do Nikah by coming here and do it in a proper way so that you can provide AHC all the evidence .... for females they are not that harsh and not create any obstacles but still on the safe side arrange it in a proper way ....

Hey FirstKnight, i got the ID card translated in english. The problem (i think anyway) is that it says on bottom of first page that signature of card holder and signature of registrar general. So for card holder, i sign but for the registrar general, how do you get that signed? Or do you even need to have that signed?

Nope Bro you dont need to get the signatures just get it attested by notary public and send it
