What records did you take? I'm wondering exactly what evidence I need to provide.

Hi everyone, I have just read that from Jan 2016 benefits will be cut for parents who have not vaccinated their children. What proof can I bring of my children's immunisation record? Will their red book issued by health visitor suffice or do I need doctors letters? many thanks in advance.

Lol didn't mean to turn this into a debate into school uniforms. Each to their own...just my personal preference and of course it's entirely possible to have great pride in your school no matter what you wear. I fully understand the pros and cons just place comfort and flexibility over rigid formality. Thankfully the school we're looking at has a uniform comprising mostly shorts and tshirts so a great compromise for my family.

Thanks a lot for all the tips. Will be quite a change from state school here in the uk where books etc are all provided. We are going to state school so hoping to avoid things like blazers - should be mostly polo shorts and shorts from what I can see. I actually hate school uniform and would rather they could wear their own comfy clothes but won't rock the boat when I first arrive lol!

I hear you but I'm used to buying a pack of 3 polo shirts for a fiver...this will undoubtedly be a huge expense. Was hoping parents bought elsewhere. Never mind.

Hi there, I'll be looking to enrol my 3 daughters in primary school from July. Do schools insist on their own 'branded' uniform purchased directly from school? Here in Scotland we can pick up polo shirts/skirts etc in the local supermarket at a fraction of the cost - is that common in Oz too? Thanks!

Hi there, looking for some advice. My three daughters (6,8,10) compete in Shotokan Karate here in the UK - they've been chosen to represent JKS at the world championships in South Africa next year. There doesn't seem to be JkS in Brisbane so we are looking for another federation as similar as possible (JKA??). We'd also love the club to be competitive with squads for national/international competitions. Any suggestions?

I have all the paperwork, but I only have a few months work experience in the last 5 years. I have enough to maintain my registration in the UK - what is the minimum they're looking for in Australia? Also, what information will my employer be asked to provide? Just a reference? Or will they be asked to assess my skills? I feel like I'm looking in all the wrong places - struggling to find the info I need. Thanks in advance.
