  1. Do we need to have documents certified before uploading for 187 visa application or can plain color scans of the original documents accepted by DIBP?
  2. We're on the same problem. Employer forgot to comply with training benchmark for this financial year. We are gathering our documents for the transition stream. Can employer contribute 2% now for the financial year that just ended(1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014)? Employer said they are going to do this but I don't know if this is acceptable to DIBP?
  3. We had an agent work on our application. They tried to appeal the decision but no luck. They were advised to use the 457 instead.
  4. Just got word that our nomination has been refused. Reason: there is no need for a paid employee.
  5. Anybody here granted a visa recently? seems nobody has received any news from DIAc as this thread has been silent lately
  6. Congratulations pinkcera. Hopefully we will also receive our good new on January...
  7. Hi Jo2004. What additional info was asked? I haven't heard anything from CO. Not really sure anymore if my case was already allocated. My agent said it was DRC and that it was already allocated but it has been 3 weeks since the "supposedly" allocation to CO and nothing. No word from agent. He is not responding to my email.
  8. Is your application and nomination DRC? What did your agent say?
  9. Nice to know they will remain open over the Christmas/New Year season. I hope my Co will make a decision by January.
  10. had CO for almost 3 weeks now but no update yet, I wonder what's taking so long for a decision. My app was lodged DRC last Oct 27 and got CO end of November. Is this normal for a CO to take more than 3 weeks from time of allocation to make a decision?
  11. We found out we have a CO 25 Nov from our RMA. No word yet after that.
  12. Hi! how did you know your application was treated as non-DRC? did Pararamatta tell you that?
  13. Hi! we lodged our RSMS 119 on 27 October just a week ahead of your. Our RMA informed us our application has been assigned to a CO last week. Hopefully Co will make a decision before Christmas.
  14. Let's hope our applications will be as lucky as your collegue. Are you onshore or offshore? mine is offshore RSMS 119. Lodged at Parramatta.
  15. Did your agent say that your application was filed DRC or non-DRC? We almost have the same timeline. Lodged nomination 15 sept (DRC) and visa app 27 Oct (DRC). No news yet if nomination was already appproved. Emailed my agent but no reply.
  16. Hope Parra will also separate ENS and RSMS dates so we will know. I hope the RSMS dates at Parra are better.
  17. I am a little concerned whether our application will be processed DRC because when our RSMS 119 visa application was lodged (DRC), the nomination was not yet approved. The nomination was lodged in September 14 (also DRC) and then our visa application was lodged end of October (also DRC). How long does a DRC nomination normally gets approved?
  18. Hi! Just wondering if those who applied RSMS 119 DRC and those who applied non- DRC have these phrase in their acknowledgement letter? My agent said they applied DRC but I just wanted to know if the acknowledgement letter for DRC and non-DRC application are the same. Processing your application This email confirms that your application is progressing. If you do not hear from us for a while, do not be concerned. Applications are generally processed in the order in which they are received. As a guide, it is expected that most applications will be finalised within five to seven months when all appropriate documents are provided with an application. When applications are more complex or documents are not provided quickly, the application may take longer to finalise. Please be aware that the department may make a decision on your application without requesting additional information. Therefore you should provide us with all the information you feel is relevant. Information is enclosed which may be relevant to your application. Certified Decision Ready applications will be allocated within 10 business days of lodgement. It is then anticipated that the case officer will assess the certified Decision Ready application in the week following the allocation. If these applications are in fact decision ready, it is expected that most will be decided within three weeks of lodgement.
