  1. We used Golden Arrow. They were amazing. Just prior to us leaving our stupid woof, punctured his eyeball and required a corneal graft. Collection had already been arranged with Golden Arrow. They ended up boarding our dog (no extra charge, administrating medicine and vets visits, again, no cost). They treated our dog like one of their own. They sorted out our pet passport and I think all in all, we were charged just under 1900 pounds. We still had to pay for blood work etc but they took the difficulty out of everything. They completed all the paperwork, our DEFRA was back within 10 days. They sent out a time table of when to have the necessary blood work done. All in all, amazing and couldnt recommend them highly enough to anyone.
  2. Hi and Welcome  Yeah there are parts of Chapel Hill that fall into the Kenmore High School catchment. The best thing to do is log onto their school website and look for the map that shows the catchment areas otherwise your looking at Indooroopilly. My son has just enrolled into Centenary State High School, which also has good grades on the Qld education board. Check out realestate.com.au. Make call after call, these houses go quick and when you go to view a house, take all necessary documentation with you, so if you like a house you can fill in your application immediately. Any questions, just holler x or PM or mail me Keira

  5. Hi Vicky. i had people from Pickfords, John Mason, white & co and another I can't remember now. I went in the with white and company. They were professional from the outset and one of the cheapest. The removals guys were respectful, funny, professional and timely. They were total machines with the packing. I can't fault them and would not hesitate in recommending them. Keira

  7. I admit I used Golden Arrow, our courier and they did this for us. They are fantastic! however to answer your question, our permit was approved in less than 2 weeks.

  10. Confused! It often doesn't take a lot  My so has just turned 13 and is currently in year 8 in the uk. We are moving to the Brisbane area next month. I am not looking to put him into school immediately, thinking we will enrol him in time for the start of the next academic year. I was convinced that he would start in January in year 8, but doing some more reading I am now doubting myself. any info would much appreciated Thanks in advance Keira
