  1. OK a little confused now, So they have already contacted you regarding your medical? What about the form 80? When I went through my visa process (still trying to block it from my memory) it was the CO who requested all this. thanks
  2. They lodged it first week in November 2014, unsure of the exact day. We weren't aware you could start preparing these things in advance so thanks for the tip, I'll get them to make a start. I'll get them to check their junk folder to see if anything has gone to that. thanks
  3. Hi, posting on behalf of the in laws... I noticed your acknowledgementdate is 28/2/15, my inlaws date is 11/3/15 but they haven't heard anything yet. Do you have a case officer now or are you just getting all your police checks and medicals done in preparation for it? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi all, my parents are looking at spending 6 months between here in Australia with me and 6 months in the UK each year. only my dad will need working rights when he's over here, mum doesn't need them. can one parent apply for the contributory parent visa and the other just do 6 month tourist visas for each visit? its a lot to pay out for 2 visas when only 1 will need the working rights here, my dad can be the one to purchase the property over here too. is this possible, or do they have guidelines in place to prevent this? thanks
  5. Thanks for the info, We used an agent for our main visa as it was quite complicated. once we've got the right form sorted, this one doesn't seem too hard to do without one. Famous last words I'm sure! Rick
  6. Hi All, Wife's parents are about to start their application for the above visa, Can anyone help with which form to use? Seems a stupid question, but when you click "Apply Now" on the immi website under 143 visa, it takes you to the 47PT form which has the title for a Temporary visa application, not permanent. Also, when you click on the "Apply Now" button under the 173 Temporary Visa, it takes you to the 47PA form, which looks like it should be for the permanent visa? Have they got it back to front, or am I missing something. Thanks Rick
  7. We have a vacancy for a qualified electrician holding a WA license. Serving the needs of the largest fast food restaurants. Unable to sponsor at this stage so must have working visa. Privately owned company, great group of employees and good rates of pay. Need good fault finding qualities for complex systems Thanks Rick
