    Hey I leave in 16 days wahoo my oh is over there and we have very expensive medical insurance in place (still bitter!) so I just need insurance to cover the flight for loss of luggage etc is there a special insurance I can get any advice would be great Thanks

    I can empathise I'm off in the other direction in 17 days and I'm up n down like a yo yo but harder as my oh has been there 6 weeks and the separation is awful but he's enjoying it which is keeping the excitement going which helps so plan all the fun things I'll do when you get back might help I also have a countdown time on my phone to the second I fly lol it's nice seeing the days drop away and they really are going quick now good luck love Edinburgh looked at getting married in the caves fab place!

    thanks kaleigh good to know it can work. The new home I had found is off already as there cats are outdoors I presumed when my friend had told her about my cats she'd mentioned this so the hunt continues hopefully ill find max the perfect home or why part if it's not to make an improvement for him. Its making it harder that my oh is already there so I feel alone in the decision but this forum helps. I need to revise for my final uni exam so hopefully I can focus n get max sorted at the same time

    Thanks everyone ill feel better if the home is awesome aslong as its more than we can offer ill be happy i just want him to be happy and doodle will be fine without him hes just a happy cat who eats n sleeps. 18 days till i leave i hope there not all as bad as this now reality is hitting lots to do!

    they dont have a very big garden. My oh thinks we should rehome max and Ive spoken to the breeder and she agree's. I think since day one although hes been happy and we love him very much he would have been better in an enviroment with people in a lot and we both work full time so thought we were being responsible by getting 2. I have a few people who want him that have excellent homes for him to roam and be with him more and give him the extra time he needs. Heartbreaking but I do think he needs more than we can give or he wouldnt act out. Thanks for your advice much appreciated, im going to do a short trial with one of the homes and see how he gets on fingers crossed.

    Well decided to take the boys but oh left a month ago and i go in 2-3 weeks the cats are with his parents been there less than a month and are being a total nightmare scratching furniture and his mother so ive ordered sprays, felliway more scratching equiptment but I know what there like( well max) and I dont think its gonna stop they have to be there till end of august before they can fly the cost of extra time in quarentine is too high. Ive been looking at catterys and for 90 days its £1400 . Has anyone found any that do discounts for long termers or any other options. We may have to consider the rehoming route again but i only have 18 days left and my final uni exam to do and a house move any help much appreciated a good moan has helped

    Hi If it's the website I'm thinking off its a waste of money, seen bad reviews. You shouldnt have to pay best thing to do is look through the job section on here for info and seek and google mining western Australia government website was pretty good if I remember rightly good luck

    <p>Thanks for that really nice of you. It looks like a good place we'll just have to see what the paperwork says, hopefully it isnt any lower as we dont want to come out and struggle. Wont be so bad once im out there earning aus dollars aswell. Hes just gonna try and rent a room off someone near by for 6 months or so till i get there to save some money.
