Hi am after some advice my partner holds a RRV sub 155. Our family are planning to fly to Adelaide in oct/nov time 2014 and are looking to apply for a 820 visa onshore can anyone give me any advice on this I've looked up the price so I know I'm looking at 4045gbp but anything else is welcomed. We have looked at lodging a 309 in the uk but would like to be able to be In Australia before the end of the year as our boys need to be staring school in jan 2015 ( I know they can study in aus on the 820 )

Looking at the option of doing it onshore yes but now thinking going for 820 visa instead of 100 visa so that our children can attend school not really sure how it works fully will be phoning the consulate tomorrow (Tuesday)

I am currently looking at moving to Adelaide on a 100 visa my partner has a RRV we have been together 5.5 years and we have 1 child together 1 on the the way and my son who's now 6. We have spent 2.5 years in court getting a removal from jurisdiction order from my eldest so now we have the all clear to start the immigration process. the problem we have is to complete the process here taking 7-9 months or putting the application in Here then get visas to stay in aus for a year while we wait. My partner can work straight away so money coming in won't be an issue, just making sure the boys can go to school and the biggest concern is once we are about to get grant the permanent visa leaving the country for 3,7 10 days. this is the hazy bit when speaking to australia consulate we where advised we had to leave aus 3 days before visa I is granted but they also said we needed to give 7 days before because of the email they send won't specify on what visa will be granted only a ball park date has anyone had to do this themselves if so can you give any advice or information to help us

I need some help and advice from anyone who has or is going through this we are in court in November for a final hearing to decide if we can immigrate to Adelaide Australia as a family with my 5 year old son as his father is not willing to sign a consent form so we need the court to hopefully grant us this, my partner already has a resident return visa as he grow up there his parents immigrated there when he was 7 years old almost 30 years ago they still live and work there as dose his two brother so we are going over to be near to his family, his parents are buying an investment propert for us to move straight in to should we be granted to move also my partners father has a small business that hopefully my partner could help him run. I would really like some advice on what the court are looking for in order to grant us the move any advice greatly needed thanks in advance Sharon and Lee

hi all i no u guys get this question all the time but how much is the the basic salary for a male working? we are planning on moving feb 2012 my partner has PR visa so me and our two young kids aged 4 and 1 yrs are applyin for immigration in oz, we will be moving to adelaide thinking the seaford area. We are trying to get some kind of idea of wages and living costs as to start with it will only be one wage coming in, we have been looking at rented houses around the 300-350 price range as this seems to be the price rage but not to sure about bills i'e electric gas water council rates. Food bills we have been looking and found a few places at good prices think it'll be around the $150-$200 we hope lol any feed back from familys in the adelaide area would be great just to give us some sort of idea thanx :wubclub::wubclub:

can anyone tell me how long it will take if i take my partner and her 4 yr old and our 1 yr old to adelaide and start the immergration process while in aust i have a rrv but havent been back to aus for 6 yrs
