  1. thats why i said talk to an agent, they will advise him. Its not all doom and gloom, plenty of options
  2. you dont have to get your sponsor to nominate you, you can go for PR yourself. Just talk to a good migration agent, it will cost you the same anyways. You have plenty of time. Dont worry.
  3. ya still waiting, but look i am working, making money and happy and healthy. Just live ours lives until it is granted, but can be annoying thinking about it over and over. Hopefully they will grant it soon. I do not want to be waiting 13 months.
  4. 14 months??? oh my god. And that was just for the 820?? I hope to god, I am not waiting that long.
  5. HI THERE all i wanted to know was the processing time for those who have applied and those who have been accepted. Thats it I did not mention I was packing in my job, I did not mention I wanted to be on a bridging visa. Thanks for all yer help. Bye
  6. Dont worry, i wont be cancelling my 457 or making any changes to my work situation, happy with work and my life, just going into 5 month of waiting for 820 visa, can be annoying thinking about it all the time, my thread was about processing times for 820/801, and not bridging visas. Thanks for you advice.
  7. hi there quinkla, no because everything sits on the 457, you could say its the foundation, and if the 457 gets cancelled, then ever thing else comes tumbling down. My bridging visa for 820/801 will only come to play with 457 visa expires.
  8. thank you, I am hoping to start a good thread, to see the waiting period and acceptance period for those who have applied with this particular visa 820/801
  9. Hi there I submitted my partner visa early feb 2014 (perth), I used an agent, I have done my medicals, please checks and completed all forms and evidence submitted. I have paid for the visas and i got my bridging visa the next day after submitting my application. I am on a 457, so bridging visa kicks in when 457 expires in 2016. My questions are the following can people who have applied please tell me how long they have been waiting for their subclass 820? or if people have got theirs already how long were you waiting?
  10. I am on a 457, applied for my 820/801 onshore Feb 11 2014 with all documents, medicals, police clearance, stat decs etc. I received my bridging visa the next day, but only comes into play when my 457 expires. I am now exactly waiting 4 months for the 820. I used an agent. It states 12-15 months, but people are getting them between 4-6months. Please check this link https://www.immi.gov.au/about/charters/client-services-charter/visas/5.0.htm
  11. I lodged mine early feb 2014, going into my 4 month, still no word yet. I have all documents, medicals done, everything submitted.
  12. Hi there i have applied for my Subclass 820/801 online, all paid for, all documents and medicals done. I submitted it in 1st week of Feburary 2014. What kind of turn around time are people getting theirs processed in the 820? I am on my 13th week now. Thanks
