  10. Mmmm NickyNook, from what I heard they are a lot more efficient in the post offices in Sydney. So maybe it depends on where one goes and get it done. I have been in the PO several times and seen people being dealt with at the counter and have heard the whole conversation, all the identity details etc. Coming from the UK where Identity Fraud is taken a lot more seriously than here, one can understand why I say it is messed up. And yes "clearly" it is not an interview, as I have seen, but they call it an interview do they not? That is besides the point as one would think when told to book an "interview" that it would done privately since it is do with a legal document. Anyway that is not really my issue, but it may end up been lol, I really just want to hear from people who have sent it back home and done it that way coz I said I cannot afford the cost right now and need to get it done soon, I was quite silly and should have just renewed it before we came.
  11. Too damn expensive to do it in Aus and I basically can not afford it. :arghh: Also the damn interview process is so messed up, it is done at the counter within earshot of all other customers in the post office hearing your personal and private details. Can anybody who has sent it back home to be done there through a family members address let me know if all went well? I have heard of people doing this before. Look forward to your comments.
