Hi, Just packing for container. Should I bring bank statements in my luggage? Thinking statements over past 6 months. Or is this not neccessary? Thanks, Jenny

Hiya, My interview went well. I was really nervous but the bonus of a telephone interview means you can have your notes out ready. It was a bit weird being interviewed on speaker phone as I could here my voice in the background (a little off putting). They asked me preset questions, mainly situational ones to do with my specialty. They were friendly though and probably one of the most laid back interviews I've ever had! Good Luck!

Hi all, I'd love to hear peoples opinions about St John of God Murdoch hospital, especially relating to midwifery. I have an interview for their midwifery graduate program, so if anyone has done this or knows someone who has, again opinions would be great! Or if anyone has done the nursing one, again, what did you think? I know the general rule of thumb is to avoid private hospitals where midwifery is concerned, however, I would like to get my foot in the door and for the sake of a 12 month program I think I can make that sacrifice, as I have no post qualifying midwifery experience in the UK (qualified this July). Some tips for interview would be fab also!!! Thanks:cute:

Hi, I know the whole process is very overwhelming and this forum is an incredible help! So, DIAC - is who you apply to for which ever visa you choose to go for. AHPRA - is the organisation which you will apply to for your nursing registration. ANMAC - is who you apply to for a skills assessment. Now, some people apply for nursing registration first, as you then can apply for a shortened skills assessment with ANMAC (which is cheaper than the full one), and then apply for your visa. This is a cheaper route. But, I applied for the full skills assessment first (which meant I needed my ITELTS for that assessment, so I sat those first), as it was important for me to get my visa application first, but its a more expensive route. It all depends on what visa you are applying for and what your individual circumstances are. As for IELTS, I was under the impression I needed them for the skills assessment, but I think people are getting away with just providing proof of education in English as an alternative, some one else might clarify this. And you definitely don't need them for your nursing registration. Hope this helps:cute:

Does any one have a copy of their CV which they provided to AHPRA which they wouldn't mind sending to me? I'm struggling with this whole process!

Hi, have people put their UK residential address down on the application form? I can put my sister in-laws address in oz down, but don't know if this would just complicate things. Thanks

Hi, Just need some advice re Question 26 (Taught and Assessed in English) for AHPRA application. Even though I went to school in the UK, can I just use my IELTS results for this question and save me the hassle of filling question 26 out and having to get a letter from my school confirming that I was taught and assessed in English? I'm sending my GCSE and A Level certificates in any case as part of evidence of qualifications. Thanks:cute:

Hi, Just starting to fill out AHPRA form. Question 9 - must provide at least one document from each category regarding proof of identity. I don't have what they require for each category. Am I ok just sending certified copy of passport, and visa grant letter for this? Thanks:cute:
