    I think Inner North is better as it has the main bus interchange. The bus company is called Action Busses if you want to know more. M&M

    Hi Guys, You must be very excited - not long now! We live in inner north on London Circuit so very central with lots of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Take a look at allhomes.com.au and search for "city" or "acton". Inner south has "kingston" or "manuka" which are trendy areas. Cheers, Mark and Michael.

    After a great turn out last time, let's have another Moosehead Saturday lunch meet-up in the City? :wink: Every Saturday between 12:00 and 18:00 Mooseheads has a special offer for $10 which includes a meal (steak, schnitzel, various burgers etc) and a drink (pint, wine or soft drink). Its great value and the food is decent. The price of a pint is around $5. We'll be there around 4pm on Saturday 18th August and everyone is welcome to join us.     <p>I just kept looking on a fwe key job websites. No real method to my approach. Lots of companies aren't interested unless you can start immediately. The problem I have is that even if I was successful in a telephone interview and was offered a job, I wouldn't feel comfortable handing in my notice on a good job in the UK until the sponsoring company had got the position approved by DIAC, then I had been approved by DIAC to fill the position, then my medicals had come back OK. I have to give a month's notice at work so it could take 2 or three months to actually be able to move to Oz and start the job. The question is, will a company be willing to wait that long. All the time, they could withdraw their offer and then my original 176 application could be invalid!</p>

    <p>Lots of uncertainty but worth a try to get to Category 1!</p>
