Red top Quotes? (what ever that is) I gave my opinion on the Indian v Pole migrant influx.....no assumption....just an opinion on what I think will or wont happen and I gave my reasons why. Assumption = something taken for granted. The assumptions are spewing from you....you assume I am a "hater" a "daily mail reader" a "racist" I am "ignorant" my knowledge of EU migrants is "biased" .......how do you know all of this?.....no seriously......how?

I got involved because it was claimed the Indians would flood the country instead of the Poles (if we do a trade deal with them), I disagree with that statement because india is on the other side of the world.....much harder to get here from India than say Poland.....and most Indians do not have a pot to p#ss in....live on a couple of $ a day so have very little chance of affording the plane ticket. All I have done is question someones suggestion that we would be inundated with Indian migrants if we do deals with them just like we have been inundated with eastern european migrants because we are in the EU.....I base this on eastern europe being a few hundred miles away by land rather than a few thousand by air and the fact your average Indian does not have a pot to p#ss in so getting here would be very very hard.....much harder than jumping in car in Poland with 3 mates sharing the petrol to the UK......do you get it now......who mentioned fruit pickers and cleaners.......... you know you and the other 2 that frequent this thread are not the "knowledge" of this subject......even if you do read broad sheet news papers, dabble in stocks and shares and are fully paid up members of "momentum.....doesn't make you the brexit genius's....the levels of your arrogance are embarrassing.....

We are discussing the sudden influx of millions of Indians if the UK does a trade deal with India.....not the current Indian population......3/4 of the population live in rural areas most under or on the poverty line.....their middle class live off $10 to $20 a day.....not a lot of change to save for the flight to the UK.....not quite as easy as hopping in a car for destination "Dover"? Yes they do have a rich elite and that was the point I made regarding those coming to this country to "learn a bit and live a bit".......not be a drain on our society.....following the recent Brexit vote I doubt it would go down very well.....eh.....what do you think? Yes I know lots of Eastern Europeans.....I would be so bold as to say, a lot more than you.....I employ a few.....I buy from a few.....I have quite a few as customers......I also know and have known lots that have been and gone with just one intention.

Not going to happen.....even if we do some trade deal with India we will never experience the influx of Indians on the scale of the Eastern Europeans.....many of which are "crash and grab" economic migrants.....arriving several to a car......sleeping several to a room.....staying a year or two to earn as much as they can and then leave dragging our own wages....living and working standards down with them in the process.....most Indians have not got a pot to p#ss in and can barely afford to eat and put a roof over their heads let alone buy a plane ticket to the UK with enough money to keep them going for a few weeks until they can get a job picking fruit......the immigration issue is for the wealthy few and educated few that could come here.....learn a bit and live a bit.

In a word "No" Reading your post it appears you have quite a decent life already and are really only looking for perfection which is impossible to find. I honestly do not think you will find a better life in Australia.....from our experience most people we met were desperate for a circle of friends and would move hell or high water to keep hold of any they had.....not very welcoming to new arrivals......I always felt they where fearful of losing what friendships they had to newbies......I would be very careful.....Gareths post is very true and very similar to how we found it (apart from work)......If you live in a nice house.....have a decent job and income.....good lifestyle then stay where you are......go on an extended holiday and enjoy the best parts but be very cautious of giving everything up......when we went it was all we wanted to do and we were 100% on the move.....I cannot imagine going through all that again if I was not 100% convinced it was the right thing......Goodluck!

This is complete rubbish.....it is "mass hysteria" and quite frankly a huge over exaggeration of our current situation......I live here....read the news every morning and evening.....I visit 4 or 5 households every day in my work......I chat to people and Brexit is high on the agenda.....none of what you say is mentioned.....in fact it is mostly positive regarding the UK getting out and looking forward not back.....I cannot recall any racial incidents apart from one or two in the first week or so of the Brexit vote......to me......things are just the same as they were on the 22nd June 2016.....its forums and discussions like these that breed the very hysteria you mentioned......if you are heading out to Oz then you clearly have already made up your mind......Brexit to you just reinforces your decision to move.......I have seen it all before.....I was one of them once......I look forward to reading your story in a few years once you have settled in Oz.........
