Sorry I asked a question, or is this a site for the rose tinted brigade but lets not get personal. Yes you do need money & lots of it, did we not just have a recession the cause MONEY so yes you need money, even the new age hippys need money so It is not me talking crap I just say it how it is & it is not for dreamers.

Did you go with a firm finiances behind you or did you wing it with the normal £10,000, I only ask this because people still say £10,000 is loads your be alright ?. Oz is a far different place today.

never say never but I have invested in a few propertys now,buisiness doing ok plus age is nearly against me. It is funny how things pan out when we started the process we thought 1 year we will be there then as we all know they changed the process due to loop holes (to many cooks). Kids got older found their own mineds, recession hit which help me as my buisiness got stronger, so at he moment I have no complaints with the uk. I think I should say contented for now.

Now house prices are moving upwards at a pace, do you have regrets not waiting ? if you had no option as it was the only thing you could do at the time then no regrets would be your answer.

Yes your right but less people will be employed or made redundant.The alternative is to use any spare time to learn a trade to give you access to the higher wage, we can all moan but very few do anything about it.

did say on paper but sold signs are going up as fast as the for sales are. iIam only saying what I can see so cannot speak for whole of uk.

I know it was a gamble but not bad returns if we both sold now but I can see more growth yet.

Just checked on line a flat I brought 2.5 years ago for £148.000 & last dec a identical flat in same road went for £179.000 so on paper there has been a dramatic upward trend.

do it cheap but pay more in the long run.
