    If i remember rightly Mr cartertucker is a roof tiler, what does he think he is to carry, just himself and hand tools or a gang of lads and a mixer and elevator, and compressor if he is a gang leader on new build. Will you be buying new or have you a limited budget just to get started with. My first Ute was a holden rodeo 4 door petrol style side. 1992 with 450000ks on it lasted over 2 years before i fryed the engine was good for hand tools and ladders, could carry extra men when required but a little short of room when collecting to much. If you fit a metal box as i did, not really big enough I now have a toyota hilux 2 door petrol 2001 with a tray back. loads more room on back but only bench seat in front can just fit me and 2 kids in to get to swimming. but the back has 2 metal tool boxes on and plenty of room. If i had an elevator, mixer and compresser on for new build it would sink with the weight. So either a decent trailer or even a transit pick up (next to impossible to get 2nd hand in brisbane) Dan
