burmtra Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 When need to organise health exam for Chilean (onshore) applying for a 820 visa? ie.. ive just read If you are required to undergo health examinations, you must organise your health examinations upfront before lodging a visa application and include your health identifier (HAP ID) when completing your visa application form. If you have confirmed that you do not need to undergo health examinations by using My Health Declarations, please indicate on your online application form that you have organised your health examinations when lodging your visa Not very clear whether you should/need to get the medical done before submitting (and paying for the application) or after? MaggieMay24 Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 820 applications take 12-15 months so most applicants wait until DIBP contacts them to have the health checks done. Doesnt seem to make sense to me. - Why would anyone require to undergo a health examination in relation to a 820 at time of lodgement...?
