Myself and my husband found out this week that it's possible for us, as a family, to emigrate to Oz...woo hoo! Still need to find a job with ENS after 2 years, but hoping it works out. Our dog is booked in for his rabies jab just in case so fingers crossed it works out for us. Here's hoping that good things happen and we're all in Oz before we know it! If hubby is looking for a sponsored position, try to get the ENS option as part of the contract. From what I have read on many forums, most employers have no problems offering ENS. You do realize that if you qualify for PR on the points system, you can apply even while here on a 457. You therefore dont have to wait 2 years.
