Mizzmp Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 I can only go based on our experience pre-july 2011 when some rules changed but... 175 skilled ind visa takes 3-4 years, you have no guarantee you can stay once it expires, you have to pay your way inc medical, schools etc 176 sponsored (we went WA) takes around 12 mths, you are a perm resident and do not pay for schools and can live like an aussie basically.
