crispysince70 Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Hiya all The regatta at Sandy Bay's been highly recommended to me off of lots of people, so to celebrate our first australia day, that's where we're going to be heading, then might call down at Kingston beach because they're having somethin aswell, might have a little dip in the sea, then back home for a bbq. Skani Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Hi Crispy, No, not going, still have more clearing up to do around my place as I live in a bushfire area and we're sure to get more hot weather before autumn arrives. We used to go every year when we were kids and enjoyed it. There's another Tassie thread called "What's Tasmania really like?" and the OP was trying to get some idea of Hobart. He asked how it compared to Cardiff (amongst other cities). I said I thought Hobart was about two thirds the size of Cardiff (population wise) but you could no doubt give him a better comparison than me.
