Guest Vzdrul Sharikoff
Wow! So many posts. Thank you for sharing your ideas :wubclub: runslikeafish, you have mentioned in one of your posts about an employment agent. Could you please tell me how I should get in touch with him/her. Maybe, any special site exists where people offer their services for those who are currently looking for a job? Maybe you know, how much do they ask for their services? P.S. If anyone knows, does Centrelink assist in searching for a job and how effective it is? Thanks to all of you for your advice.
Skani
P.S. If anyone knows, does Centrelink assist in searching for a job and how effective it is? Centrelink's function is mainly to assist with financial support for certain people and there are separate agencies contracted to help their clients. Their website page for Migrants has links to resources which may help: http://www.centrelink.gov.au/internet/internet.nsf/individuals/work_migref.htm

A good starting place would be Hays (http://www.hays.com.au/main/default.aspx). They don't charge you anything, they make their money from employers who are looking for staff.
