sharon69
Hello All. my question is I am required to get another police check for my job as a nurse in SA, it has to be within 3 months of my starting my job, so I do need another one doing but does anyone know if it is the same check done for the actual visa or a different kind? Many thanks, Sharon
Ken
If it's a UK certificate it is likely to be a different kind, since the one for the visa is headed "Police Certificate for Immigration purposes", but your employer should be able to tell you what they need. However, usually police checks for workplaces have to be Australian. Most jobs asking for police checks may actually want a police record check from the particular state you are working in. Love Shoes
MY OH is awaiting another police check. His sponsor has already done one, they are also the government, yet APHRA are doing another one.
