owendoyle
Hello all. I am just applying for (another) 457 with my current employer. I currently invoice them for any work done as a contractor / sole trader. Does anyone know what the rules are for 457 visa and working like this. My employer does not wish, if it can be avoided, to put me as an "employee". However I have provided a work agreement and I only work for that employer. Hours are also the same each week. I am payed on a salary but "invoiced each month" (ie. Base Salary / 12). IMMI are giving us a little hassle....esp about the Training Requirement, as the company has no official "employees", just contractors who work directly with them. Not everyone works a desk job immigration! The occupation is Natural and Physical Sciences (NEC). Employed as an Exercise Physiologist. Any advice is much appreciated? Thanks in advance. Owen
