Here is a list which may help

Passport and visa

Birth certificate (including translation)

Marriage certificate (including translation)

Travel insurance (including medical cover)

Evidence of change of name (including translation)

Medical history (including translation and details of medication)

Bank statements

Rental history – Copy of References from the Landlord/Real Estate Agent (including Translation)

Drivers licence and International Drivers licence

International email account

School reports for children (including translation)

Organise access to emergency money for unexpected costs (such as a credit card)

Professional references and qualification certificates

Copy of Resume/CV (including translation)

Qualifications (including translation)

Copy of Employment Related Certificates, Licenses and Memberships (including translation)

Employment References and/or Referees (including translation and contact details)

Neither school our kids are starting next week asked to see theirUK school reports, but we did offer. I realise that this may vary between schools though. If you do have kids bring their red immunisation books - the primary school wanted to see my daughter's book and photocopied it, but my son's high school did not want to see it.

The other thing that may help to is to put some of the above list onto a memory stick - alot of jobs/rental appications here are applied for online.
