wishfulthinking
My hubby and I currently live in the uk and we also have citizenship to Australia. Just wanted to know if my husban went back to oz and got a job could he send money over that he earns. My question is would the government take out some sort of tax over here in the uk? How does it work? Cheers
Guest The Pom Queen
Hi as far as I know you would only be taxed once but would still need to declare it as income in the UK, but I'll be honest and say I'm only guessing
Alan Collett
The answer depends on your tax residency. Take a look at booklet HMRC6 via http://www.hmrc.gov.uk Best regards.
