LaurenKnowles
Hi just wondering how long the processing time is taking on average for the De facto visa in the UK- i will be applying from Scotland so is my nearest office the Australia House in London??? im in Australia on a visitor visa at the moment and will be going home to lodge my application round November ( i could do it in Australia but my tourist visa has a no work condition- and i think its wise to go home for a while to earn some money while i am in processing limbo) I have my medical in 4 weeks and i have all my police clearances, stat decs and everything else done. Just a bit worried that my boyfriend and i have lived together for a year but in his parents house so we only have hand written cash receipts- has anybody had any problems with this ???? any replys would be much appreciated. it helps so much to see how other people are going with this! Thanks :arghh:
JoandJon
Average processing times are about 4 months at the moment Re your evidence - just make sure you get his parents to write a Stat Dec saying you were living there together as well as the receipts Good luck
