Guest jodieandcarl Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Hi everyone, My partner and I are both 23 and looking to get the process started for our move soon (we just need to save a bit more money). We are struggling where is best for us to live. We want to be someone where with a bit of night life and near the beaches. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have read a lot on here which has been very helpful however most people are relocating families with children etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Also, as I said we are saving hard and both planning on working once in Australia. We also would like to buy somewhere once we have found an area we love. What is a sensible amount of money to aim on taking out there (saving-wise)? Thank you in advance for any help you are able to offer us. Some of the best advice yet. This is similar to what my hubby did as he arrived before us and gave him time to see what areas really worked for us. I'd go for night life and stay somewhere like West End, New Farm, South Bank. Or if you like cafe culture then Paddington would be good too (it's a bit further out).
