DrewNE Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Hey Folks All advice/guidance gratefully received Am applying for a 457 Skilled Sponsor Visa and am getting ready to submit, I'm a bit confused about the insurance that I need. I've been told that I will be covered by Medicare under the RHCA and that once I am in Oz in possession of a valid visa that I can start this so I only need to obtain travel insurance for my journey and initial landing in OZ before I activate the Medicare and this travel insurance doc is sufficient for the visa application. However I have looked about the forum and I don't see that anyone else has done this, they have took out full private medical insurance?
