Employer Sponsorship in WA

Hi,

we applied for a 175 visa in May 2009. So far, we've not been assigned a CO. Therefore, we thought we'd try state sponsorship. Unfortunately, the place we want to live (WA) doesn't include my occupation - i'm a Systems Administrator.

We visited Oz last year and went to Perth - we absolutely loved it. We really have our hearts set on living there but the delay is really annoying us (don't want my kids to be too old before we move).

I would really appreciate it if anybody could give me advice on going through the employer sponsored route. I have no idea how to go about applying for jobs there as a few websites i've looked at say you already need a visa before you can apply.

Please please can you anyone help?

Thanks.

Hi there

I would recommend talking to a recruitment consultant - I've been offered a job working for The Brooklyn Group, which I'll be taking up in October, they specialise in IT and might be able to point you in the right direction of employers who might sponsor you :)

Good Luck!
