Can anyone tell me if you can move to Australia and set up a business straight away or is there any rules in which you have to wait and live there for a certain time period (reason I am asking is that someone told us that you have to wait and cant set up straight away????) :wacko: Would be grateful if anyone can answer this for us. Alan Collett Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 If you hold a permanent residency visa you can start a new business as soon as you arrive - assuming you have arranged all the required business registrations of course.
