chiara
Hi My family and I want to move to oz -- my husband qualifies jobwise for a skilled migrant visa but having spoken to an agent it seems that because he has a diploma rather than a degree, he can only come out on a sponsored visa. Problem is, having spoken to some recruitment agencies, they tell him that they have enough applicants who have degrees and who can therefore organise their own visas, so in other words, they can't help my husband. Short question is, is there a way around this problem or is he going to simply have to keep applying for job after job until someone IS willing to sponsor him? chiara
I dont understand the issue? What's your husband occupation Hi Feronia He is a construction manager. He's been told by the agent that he can't come out on a skilled migrant worker visa but rather a sponsored skilled migrant worker visa because he doesn't have a degree qualification. Is that the case?
Guest dawnpepper
Could he do another course in the UK to update to a degree and apply for a visa at the same time?
Guest Feronia
Yeah I got it now. I guess you need ENS sponsor and your agent may be right. Employers doesn't wanna be sponsor to the people, because there are lots of canditates try to have their own visa and try to get in the local market. Didn't your agent tell you different options?
