I couldn't live as it is too small and wouldn't offer me enough stimulation. Though it depends on what your personal preferences are. I like Tamworth as it has good shopping and really good schools. Yes the real estate is good here with good $ value. Depends what you are looking for. Thanks, Maria. G'day mate, know the place quite well and it is a very nice predominantly farming area to live in. The Peel River is subject to flooding in summer (dec-feb) so be aware not to live along the flat ground (Calala). The hill areas around Nemingha and Kootingal are very nice to live in.
