Guest ur20v Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 Just wondered if anyone has managed to get extra luggage allowance over and above the 30Kg economy class allowance when emigrating? There used to be a promotion code 'UKMOVE1' or some such but its expired and all the posts on the subject are old and out of date and theres nothing on thier web site. mike 6r4 Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 Nope sorry mate, I called up and asked, they said it was an offer in conjunction with a partner of theirs and is no longer available. I was slightly over the 30Kg and thought I'd try being polite and nice at check in but they weren't interested and I had to remove 2.1Kg. 30Kg and that's it mate. They weighed all of our hold luggage (12 items) plus all of our hand luggage at Glasgow. You have to lug it all around at the other end as well. Cheers and enjoy your flight.
