shaunkaren Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Hope someone can help - we are planning on celebrating Xmas in July and wanted to cook some Ostrich meat just like we have done in the UK. We thought we had hit the jackpot when we found a supplier near Geelong BUT they only export the meat abroad. Not sure eating feather dusters will quite hit the spot, so if anyone knows of any gourmet butchers in Victoria that sell the most delicious meat ever then would love to know. Not sure about the children being too happy to see their beloved Ostrich in a fridge but may check out their August market - too late for Xmas in July.
