Quoll Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 You dont need to do it for a while - better to make sure that you like it here before you move your money into an Aus super fund because once it is here you wont be able to get it out again should things go pear shaped - not until you are retirement age anyway. Guest Liam Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Best thing to do is send a message to your Pension funds asking for an Accoun Valuation on the date you leave the UK (you will need this later) and also to give them a mail address in Australia. You tshoudl also ask for a specific contact person or team details and explain you need this because of the time difference and wish to be able to send questions by email if possible. Then wait until you get here and make sure you are staying before locking your savings in to the Aussie System.
