Work visa.

I would like to thank everyone that helped with advice re my son, in the last few months.

His first visa was turned down as he made a mistake over his Skills assessment.

He applied again, went through the process once more, to be told two days after paying his fee to DIAC that he was now going to be put on hold.

He went to Australia, on holiday in Feb this year and after making contact with a number of garages, was given a sponsorship for a working visa.

So to all of you out there, it is possible. It obviously helped that he had everything in place, Skills assessment, medical and police checks, and the company had their own immigration agent, so it was all done for him.

Many thanks and good luck to all of you who are still trying to get there.
