Does Anyone have any ideas/prices for shipping stuff back to the UK. We used Crown to get here (never again) and had a 40foot container. We would hope to only have a 20 returning but if anyone has any recommendations or advice we would really appreciate it.

Hi we've just been quoted by Chess $13000 for a 40ft which is a lot more than we came with as we've decided we ain't leaving anything behind again. they did say it would be a lot cheaper for a 20ft

Try Kent removals, we just been quoted $7100 for a 20ft container, thats them packing, our 2 lots of friends just used them and they had no problems, also all shipping companies over here charge 3% insurance, but we sourced a company in Liverpool(UK) called letton and percival and they only charge 1.4% of the cost of the replacement of the consignment inside the container. Plus you can pay in UK pounds if u still have a UK account, therefore no exchange rate to contend with.

Hi we used Crown to Oz, and then used Crown back again, didn't have no problems with them although we didn't ship alot of things, found their staff to be excellent, we had quotes from Allied Pickford and Grace whilst we were in Mornington, but just stuck to Crown, there was not a great deal in any of the quotes

hi has anyone used 1st move international, they only take 4 weeks to ship over we are returning to the uk, husband aussie, i've been here for 12 years, we are selling all furniture, so just looking to ship 1 or 2 cubic metre box, not had a quote yet, other companies take 14-16 weeks,

We have 20ft container with Wridgeways which has cost us $7300 that is them packing. It leaves on the 11th June and gets to the UK on the 23rd July, we will get it a week after that. We did get a quote on a 40ft container last year with them as we were debating whether to take our car and they quoted around $12000.
