As you can see through it to the sky behind, I would hazard a quess that's it's vapour.......smoke from a ciggy, barbie? Long exposures can throw up all kinds of "errors". The grain in the picture is just one example. I'm guessing that it was dead calm when you took the pic, 'cause the trees are pretty sharp, considering the long exposure. If it was dead calm, how come, if it is smoke, that it has it drifted across the full length of the pic? Or has it travelled a shorter distance, simply across the lens? ie it's pretty close to your camera, again, possibly indicating ciggie or barbie smoke, and even perhaps an insect flying past the lens? The insect would leave it's (solid) trail, but the long exposure would burn the sky through the trail to give the impression that it was not a solid object. kev Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
