Shaz36 Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 Hi, My sister works as a nurse over in Oz and has been giving the swine flu vaccination to under 5's now for a while. I dont think its mandatory to get it so doubt it would be required by schools, and ts not mandatory here either. Perhaps someone else can confirm, but at least you know that if you dont get it now, you can still get it over there should you need it. Well, my kids haven't had it and they are at school and nursery here. My doctor did ask me if we all wanted to get stabbed, but like you I have some reservations about it, so I said I'd wait to see if any people starting walking around with tails and trotters!
