Guest hays
Hi Joe, no one in our family has any idea how to surf! we will look really silly on the beach trying it . I'm sure that you will pick up the basics quickly and before you know it, you'll be surfing like a proffesional!
Guest Dunteaching
Joe, you're young and bendy. You'll be fine. Just find someone old and not bendy to surf next to and you'll look soooooooooooooo cool! Louise
Guest austibeach
Joe, my advice to you is to join the nearest Surf Life Saving Club. I have been involved with Surf Life Saving for over 30 years and it really is the best way to learn to swim, surf and use a whole lot more surf craft. You gain a healthy respect for the dangers as well as the fun, that the ocean can offer. You will be trained in Surf Life Saving and rescusitation and therefore will become a valued member of your community. Learning to surf is a whole lot easier when you have learned to be confident in the sea. Joining your local Surf Life Saving Club is also the best way to make friends. Good luck, I'm sure you will love Australia. Eric. http://www.slsa.asn.au/ click here for more information
