Ratchet Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Hi, as there appear to be loads of us nurses and we are still in demand over here, could we have a bit that we say who we work for and would we recommend employement with them? Reason being is that ive been with my employer for just over a week now and i have to say, id recommend them. Now i know that a week isnt that long and i have to say they dropped me in the deep end with only one day supernumery time, but i have felt supported not only by the ward staff, but by the director of nursing and the general manager. Ive even been told on nureous occasions that if i didnt think melbourne was right for us then they would look for a job in another hospital elsewhere in Oz. I know for a fact i would never have been offered that in the uk. Also PR application is done within 6-12months following positive staff reveiws. considering most of my new team are from overseas inc UK and have all been sponsered for 457 then PR, i can only say that the employer sticks to their word.
