ali Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 Ellen, My son Tom was 7 when he left England for Perth in january. He keeps in touch with his old school friends, he sends them emails and postcards. He also emails his teacher, his old school has interactive white boards so she puts his email up and the class read it and send a reply back to him with questions on it. He has alot of fun keeping in touch with his old friends, but has also made lots of new ones. He has settled here very quickly and loves going to the beach or playing in the pool, he enjoys school too. He doesn't seem to miss living in England at all.
