I have a job offer in NSW, but its likely that my 175 application will take at least another 3 months (all going well) which is not ideal for me or the employer. Guest meganhannah Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I have been told by my migration company that on the 176 visa you have a moral obligation but not a legal obligation to reside in the sponsored state. We are in a similar position in that our visa is for Queensland but we are thinking of Melbourne. Hope this information is right, there are many knowledgable people on this site who will soon give you the right info of this is incorrect.
