Guest mbev1976
We are considering checking out the Sydney and Brisbane areas for 3 weeks in August and need advice regarding whether it would be advisable to take the baby and what the weather will be like at that time of year. Has anyone done a smililar trip with a young baby? Are there many baby friendly options for accomodation in NSW? Any advice would be gratefully welcome! Thanks, Michelle, Mark and Olivia x
Guest mutikonka
Can be surprisingly chilly in August. Well, it feels that way because the houses here have no central heating or double glazing. Most poms laugh when Sydneysiders complain of the cold in winter ... but you would want to pack a jumper and coat. Winters in Sydney can be surprisngly pleasant, with nice cool weather and more blue skies than the humid summers. And no reason why you shouldn't bring the little one along - plenty for them to do in winter - not like the UK where you're stuck indoors from October to March!
