I have been requested to send 2nd VAC payment of $31,555 as follows " To make this payment, please pay by credit card or bank cheque. Bank cheques should be drawn on an Australian Bnak or drawn on a bank that has representation in Australia." I do not have a credit card loading for that amount nor do I have an Australian Bank account, also I do not have the account details or sort code for a bank in order to transfer the amount electronically. I have sent an e-mail to immigration in Perth but thought that there must be someone out there who has had the same experience and could clarify things a lot quicker . A bank draft from your High Street bank or via one of the specialist currency firms (eg HiFX - T 01753 859 159) will be drawn on an Aussie bank, and should be agreeable to the Parents Processing Centre. Best regards. Yes thanks for that Alan. I managed to sort it out with my bank in the end, at first they had given me the wrong information so I spent the morning like a flea in a fit. Hopefully I will receive the draft early next week which can then be sent to Perth. Interestingly the Australian High Commission could not give me any information at all. Thanks once again.
