Guest WARDStoOZ
I believe Citizenship is four years of residence with a citizenship test. Atleast one of the four years has to be as a permanent resident and I believe 60% is a pass on the citizenship test i.e. 12 out of 20. Hope that helps! Guest Gollywobbler
Hello plazze Welcome to Poms in Oz. Have you studied the Australian Citizenship website? If you hahve not found that yet, it is here: Australian Citizenship The Residence requirement section is here: Step 1: Am I eligible? – General eligibility The relevant section seems to be this bit: People who became permanent residents on or after 1 July 2007 must have been lawfully resident in Australia for four years immediately before applying including: 12 months as a permanent residentand absences from Australia of no more than 12 months, including no more than three months in the 12 months before applying. Best wishes Gill
