emmaj
Im trying to arrange a game of golf for Hubs, we are in Central Perth and have to rely on public transport so if anyone could recommend a good course that is open to the public and easy to get to it would be much appreciated. Thanks Emma x

northernbird
Closest to the city but still not great on public transport are Collier Park, Wembley, Burswood and Maylands. The first 3 are better than Maylands and my husband plays those 3 courses regularly.
Guest Westozzie
My pick would be Burswood or Maylands. With Burswood you will need to book in advance, Maylands you can just turn up. Maylands is also alot cheaper than Burswood. But on public transport Burswood prob eaiser although taxi might be the way to go, unless he will be hiring clubs. There is also pleanty of courses out of Central Perth though, a great place for the whole family is Araluen, there is the araluen gardens http://www.araluenbotanicpark.com.au/index.html & a golf course about 5 minutes away http://www.golfworldmap.com/oceania/australia/wa/araluen/index.html The only problem is getting there, about 40km SE out of central perth, but well worth the travel. The eaisiest way by public transport might be train to kelmscott station then a taxi to the gardens, as there are no buses that go to the gardens.
