Guest Tracey Adams
Hi all Is anyone in or has been in the position where two of the members of your family have had their meds finalised and met, one is outstanding, and the other is finalised but no movement on the other onlin page where it stil says requested and not mt like the others. Its doing my head in is it just how it happens or is there something more sinister afoot like my son has not met the requirements and as for me are they just taking their time? When we had our meds the doc said he coul see no issues, but why oh why are they taking so long to clear ours and did the OH & daughters so quickly. Guest kdal
Oh Tracey really feel for you but hang on in there hunny it will be fine. Ive not heard of that before as generally some say finalised before others but never heard of any turning to met before the others - as normally once things go to met it is not long before the visa is issued. Keep us updated I'm sure it will happen soon xx
Guest pandj6224
Hi tracy, I understand from our mgration agent that the immgration website can actually show this type situation, when the real truth is, no one has actually updated it.... Think yourself lucky that you have a C/O, Tra was passed Oct 07, 175, on the 17th of Jan 08, meds and pc's May 08,,,,,, And still no C/O, keep checking via the website, nothing....what a shambles, Pat... Guest guest17301
Tracey- our meds were finalised at different times. My OH just had chest x ray and his was finalised the day after the meds! Both the kids followed within the next few days; one had a med plus xray the other just a med. Mine took another 3 or 4 days to be finalised and looking at it it was my blood results that held it up. So if you are waiting on blood results for anyone it seems they take longest to process. Hope that reassures you. The waiting is agony isn't it! Hi Good God what the hell are they doing with your application, we are not using an agent, so we do not know what the time scales are with these visas are like. We just have to be patient, but what these people do not realise is our lives are virtually on hold until until we have the visa, cant put the house up for sale until we have the visa. Lets hope things will speed up soon and we all get our visa,s. Good luck to all. Tracey
Guest pandj6224
Hi Tracey, I totally agree, our lives are on hold, as are yours, to be honest, all we want is an answer whatever it may be !! Not really sure whats happening, we have our TRN no, so can check, no movement since our meds were finalised. Our agent who is pretty good, just tells us we have to be patient, as it won't be long now !!! Boy I hope not, OH by the way is a Nurse and we have 5 children from 18-7, maybe we got it wrong when we thought they wanted families and Nurses ?? An answer before Christmas would be nice !! Pat... Guest Pete and Lou
Hi there, we too are in the same situation. Pete's, our son Will's and my medicals were finalised on the 10th of November, but my daughters still says "health requirements outstanding". It is driving me mad that it hasn't changed and I am sure it is just a case of being patient, but I can't help but worry! Does anyone know when the DIAC closes for Christmas so I can have a break from checking the online progress website!!!!

It took an extra 9 days for my medicals to finalise compared to the rest of my families ( there are 4 of us). When we called Adalaide last week to see if anything was wrong with my meds they just said give a few weeks, they said once the meds are finalised it will go to the decission board as everything else that is required is met - FAB. Now just waiting for the special email!!! so if your families meds have not cleared together do not worry it just takes a little time, it does not mean anything is wrong. Good luck to all waiting for the visa notification. Tracey & family
markntracey
Thanks for that. I've just checked and all ours are finalised except for Marks. Its says Xrays are outstanding which is odd considering it was in the same envelope as mine.

Guest BarbersRgo?
Hi Shar07 I waited for two months for my meds to be finalised. OH's was done straightaway. We finally heard from HOC asking me to go for TB tests and to see a chest specialist. Specialist wrote report saying that I did not have TB, just old marks on my lungs. It took another month for them to say too bad you must have another Xray (All this cost £250) Finally meds passed 12/01/09 the 4 days to Visa granted. If you are using an agent get him to email HOC to see what problem is. Good luck - I'm sure wont be long now.

Hi Pat, I just wanted to say hang in there and dont lose hope. Im also checking my online status for a CO, sad really but I have been staying up til 1am (on a work night!) just so I can check it when its Adelaide work time. I lodged in Sept 08 so way after you, must be so difficult. Altho i have heard not all CO's up date the system, so you may have one but not know it. Take care, Vicky xxxxxxxx

Tracey Hi Tracey, Im really sorry to hear how stressed you are with things, I really hope you get it sorted soon enough. If the Dr said you were all fine inm sure he was right. If the Syndey Health Centre is anything like DIAC they'll be done at random, total lottery so dont worry Im hoping to send my medicals off soon (when they get requested), can i just ask what happens, can we track them at Sydney with a special number? Did yours take a while to get finalised? xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Did yours take a while to get finalised? xxxxxxxxxxxxx Dear All, We are a family of 3, against my and my husband's medicals (both medical and x-ray) its marked "further checking required" on the document checklist page, while my son had only medicals and it says met.Our medicals were recieved on 3rd feb 09 and we got this update on 11th feb 09 on our status page. On the main staus page all of our 3 medicals are just maked outstanding and recieved. What does "further checking required" indicate. My doc said we have no prob, is it that they need further time to check our medicals or have they found something suspisious on our medicals? In the further documents request our CO did not ask for anything relating to medicals. I am really wondering whats going on. I have written to my CO asking what does it mean, yet to recieve a reply. Plz help with your advice and experience. Thanks in advance.
